SUMMER CAMP IN FRANCE

HOMESTAY

1. Regular Homestay program

Through our three or four week homestay programs, you'll have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with French culture and improve your language communication skills by becoming a member of a French host family.

TUTORIAL FSL PROGRAM
(French as a Second Language)

Tutorial in Lyon

Students are placed in attractive suburbs near Lyon. Excursions and full-day trips are designed to take advantage of the abundant cultural attractions of this metropolitan area.

Small classes of only four or five students afford ample opportunity to improve French speaking skills and build knowledge of the French culture. Tutors are chosen for their competency in teaching French.

For three weeks, classes are held in the morning (a total of 12 hours per week) and afternoons are devoted to tutor-led excursions. A weekly full day activity comples the program. Evenings, weekends and the last week of the program are spent with the host family, who is eager to welcome a foreign student into its everyday life. All host families provide full room and board.

SUMMER CAMP IN MIAMI

Our Summer Camps, designed for students from 12 to 19 years old, are 3 or 4-week full-package programs which provide a combination of language classes (up to 4 hours per day), activities and homestay accommodation.

Summer Camp programs are offered during summer months or during any other months depending on request

ENGLISH CAMPS

English and Activities Camp

During this three-week program, students take English classes from 9 am to 1 pm four days per week. After lunch, students participate in various cultural and sports activities in Miami area, such as visiting museums and places of interest, playing volleyball or basketball on the beach, playing tennis at various tennis courts, and more. Three full day excursions to different points of interest in the area are planned during the non-instructional days. At the end of the day, students return to their host families to have dinner and enjoy other family activities.

During weekends, students have a choice of spending their time with the host families or participating in Open Hearts-organized activities, such as trips to DisneyWorld in Orlando.

English and Water Sports Camp

During this three-week program, students take English classes from 9 am to 1 pm four days per week. After lunch, students participate in various water sport activities in Miami area, such as kayaking and snorkeling, water polo, fishing, diving, swimming, and more. Three full day excursions to different points of interest in the area are planned during the non-instructional days. At the end of the day, students return to their host families to have dinner and enjoy other family activities.

During weekends, students have a choice of spending their time with the host families or participating in Open Hearts-organized activities, such as trips to DisneyWorld in Orlando.

TUTORIAL CAMP

During this three week program, the participants meet with their teacher, in the teacher's home or in a nearby public place, for 12 instructional days [4 per week]. The instructional days are devoted to language classes in the morning, which emphasize oral English. The teacher and students have lunch together and then spend the afternoon on field trips and activities where they can use the English they are learning and increase their understanding of the culture (visiting a museum, City Hall, a zoo, seeing a baseball game). Three full day excursions to different points of interest in the area are planned during the non-instructional days. Small groups will join together for these excursions. Evenings and weekends are spent with the host family. of the day, students return to their host families to have dinner and enjoy other family activities.

During weekends, students have a choice of spending their time with the host families or participating in Open Hearts-organized activities, such as trips to DisneyWorld in Orlando.

TENNIS CAMP

Students take English classes from 9 am to 1 pm every weekday. After lunch, students participate in various tennis training and tournament activities at CrandonParkMulti-CourtTennisCenter, in Key Biscayne, Home of Ericsson Open. At the end of the day, students return to their host families to have dinner and enjoy other family activities.

During weekends, students have a choice of spending their time with the host families or participating in Open Hearts-organized activities, such as trips to DisneyWorld in Orlando
